Crescenta Valley High School Class of 1970

50th Reunion Video Program

Our reunion program consisted of a welcome message and three videos:

A video montage of scenes from our high school days.
A video montage from our 10th, 20th, 30th and 40th reunions

In her reunion welcome message, Eva Operskalski talked about the many deep, life-long friendships which make our class special. And she told about moving to our neighborhood in the third grade. Eva's mother, at age 104, still remembers the woman who first welcomed her family to the neighborhood with a fresh-baked pie.
Sixty years later, on a warm October evening in a difficult year, we shared the joy of being together with such wonderful friends. We also felt the absence of those classmates who, for many reasons, could not join us.

One of the classmates being kept away from us was that neighborly woman's son, Dave Kenagy. So we were happy to have him appear by video to offer our 50th reunion celebration and toast. A reminder of the great and growing value of our many special friendships — both for those who were there, and for those we missed.
