2000: Les Pétomanes Triomphants!
It's July 2000, and Les Pétomanes are dreaming of glory: a team of manly men in an armada of tall sailing ships ... the long-anticipated sighting of an alluring but heretofore uncharted island lost in azure glacial waters ... the definitive claiming of the island for the greater glory of Les Pétomanes ... the burial of a time capsule full of memories of the past and aspirations for the future, there to lie untouched for twenty shining summers and twenty blustery winters in the shadow of the Sierra's most singularly distinctive peak ...

It's a stunning dream which Karl's millennial t-shirt unflinchingly contrasts with the reality of le voyage véritable des pétomanes.

1999: Les Pétomanes au Moulin Rouge!
The 1999 Les Petomanes T-shirt is a tribute to the French painter and lithographer Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec Monfa (1864-1901).  Toulouse-Lautrec's first poster, "Moulin Rouge - La Goulue," appeared with the opening of the Moulin Rouge in 1889.  It shows the dancer La Goulue (the glutton) performing the scandalous chahut (can can) with her loose-limbed partner Valentin Le Désossé (the boneless).

Toulouse-Lautrec

Moulin Rouge - La Goulue

Our version is equally scandalous, and is inspired by the fact that our own Le Pétomane also played the Moulin Rouge, was even more popular than Mme. La Goulue, and yet is not known to have been the subject of a Toulouse-Lautrec poster.  Until now.
1998: La Tradition! La Grandeur! L'Odeur! ... Les Pétomanes!
Leaders of men?  Not even leaders of our hapless mules, who want to be anywhere else!
Pourquoi?  The explanation is summed up in our 1998 motto:
"La Tradition!  La Grandeur!  L'Odeur! ... Les Pétomanes!"
1997: La Terreur dans la Jungle!
Every creature in the forest is desperate to get away from ... Les Pétomanes!
1996: Le Signe des Pétomanes!
You know they're around ... you can see the warning signs everywhere:
1995: Les Hommes Virils!
The inaugural t-shirt provides flattering images of the nine members as of 1995.
